Sonakshi Sinha interested to continue in South Films?

Sonakshi Sinha has had an excellent box office reputation in her early phase with her films like DABANGG, ROWDY RATHORE, SON OF SARDAR, DABANGG 2 doing mind-blowing business at the box office. However recently she is going through a lean phase with most of movies failing to create ripples at box office like HIMMATWALA, BULLETT RAJA, R... RAJKUMAR, HOLIDAY: A SOLDIER IS NEVER OFF DUTY and the latest release Prabhudheva directed movie ACTION JACKSON opposite Ajay Devgan.
She is desperately in need of a box office hit to survive in this competitive film industry and all her hopes are alive with LINGAA opposite southern Super star Rajinikanth.
She is confident of the movie's super success. In fact she is so impressed by the south film industry that she is looking forward to do many films down south. She says, "The southern film industries' movies are rich in content, which is why so many of their films get remade in Bollywood."
"I would love to do more projects (down south) provided I get good scripts. I definitely don't want my southern film career to end with LINGAA'," she added.
Though Sonakshi Sinha's much hyped film with south sensation superstar Mahesh Babu has been shelved yet she continues working with south directors. Her latest film is with A.R. Murugadoss in a "woman-centric" Hindi film.
On being quizzed about the lean phase of her career she said, "I think the best way is to take success and failure in the same stride. Both come one after the other. I have been fortunate that my films have done well. So I don't really go and shout on the rooftop that my film crossed Rs.100 crore, nor do I cry when my film doesn't do well."
Recently she graced the music release function of her upcoming multi-lingual film LINGAA in Hyderabad on December 8 in a stunning and dazzling bright yellow Anita Dongre suit Accompanying her were Thalivaa Rajinikant, Anushka Shetty, film director K S Ravi Kumar and producer Rockline Venkatesh, Telugu star Jagapati Babu and sound director K Viswanath. The film's music director A R Rahman gave the event a miss.
