After doing a demure role in her debut movie, the charming daughter of Shotgun Shatrughan Sinha will be next revealing her sizzling aspect in Shirish Kunder's 'Joker'. Although her character is that of a village belle, Sonakshi Sinha is said to don the item tag in the movie.

Birdies revealed that 'Joker' which is nearing its completion, has few scenes and an item number left to shoot. The team was searching for suitable actress to feature in the song. Later when they shot a song with Sonakshi, they felt she will be far better choice instead of going for someone else. The song will be choreographed by Shirish’s wife-filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan. Having directed chartbuster item songs like "Munni" and "Sheila" last year, Farah is said to be determined to give 'a killer' this time whereas Shirish believes it be 'the mother of all item songs'.

While the makers are mum over the item song details, birdies heard that it will carry Maharashtrian flavour but not in a typical way. Starring Akshay Kumar, Shreyas Talpade, Minissha Lamba besides Sonakshi, 'Joker' is 3D fantasy adventure flick. The movie is produced under Shirish and Farah's production banner Three's Company along with Akshay's Hari Om Entertainment.
