Sona on Friday reiterated that she never said anything against men. The actress-producer was reacting to an interview of her, which was recently published in a Tamil weekly.

Speaking to reporters in Chennai, Sona said, "I respect men a lot and I did not comment against them in the said interview. I have sent a legal notice to the magazine."

Earlier, Sona lodged a complaint with the Chennai city Police Commissioner, stating that the interview was fabricated and she was misquoted in it.

It may be recalled that few organisations jumped into protest against Sona, condemning some portions of her interview. She was quoted as saying in the interview that she used men as tissue papers.
