It is well-known that dad Mohan Babu is in some kind of healthy competition with his sons Manoj and Vishnu. All the three are busy with their own movies ---- something of a rarity in the industry.

Among the three, Manoj’s film with Dasarath of Santosam fame and Mohan Babu’s own film Political Rowdy are big budget and mass ones.So the cynosure is all on them.

Both started on equal footing after the film’s launch --- both were on the look out for an interesting heroine for their respective films.

The two films have stories that give lot of importance to the heroine. But it seems Manoj has beat his father to the post. They have zeroed in on a heroine for the film.

Popular Tamanna who has appeared in ads for Fair and Lovely, has been penciled to play the leading lady in the film. It may be recalled that Manoj’s films have high-profile heroines --- the last one Suryam had Celina Jaitley.

Meanwhile, papa Mohan Babu, who plays an ageing don in love with a very,very young girl, is still stuck in the starting block as far his heroine chase is concerned.

The lady luck has to smile on him now.
