Son kills mother because he 'felt insulted'

What 22-year-old Madan has done to his mother is beyond shocking. The resident of Ambedkar Nagar in Hyderabad's Yellareddyguda hacked his own mother to death on Thursday morning.
The murdered mother, G Mamatha (40), had been doing a chit business on her own. She ended up incurring huge losses for whatever reasons. And with the contributors/members of the chits starting to demand their money, her son felt insulted. He saw his mother as a villain.
Madan went to her uncle's home in Kothapet, where Mamatha had been staying for the past few months. He brought her home with the sole intention of killing her off. Madan reportedly took a weighty object to hit his mother on her head repeatedly. Not done, he strangulated her later.
The SR Nagar police have taken Madan into custody. The suspect's wife too has come under the police radar.
