Devi Sri Prasad is a happening music-director in Tollywood. With the limited opportunity available for him in Tamil, he has utilized them well to prove his worth coming up with racy and fast numbers.

An energetic young composer, Devi Sri Prasad is back in Tamil with Something Something. Jassie Gift, Karthik, S P Balasubramanaiam and Shankar Mahadevan have lent their voice, and the music director has succeeded in coming up with music that is sure to catch the youngsters.

Kilye Kilye (Jassie Gift)

Jassie Gift's has a gifted voice with a masculine appeal. Here, he renders this racy number quite comfortably. The energetic tempo and bouncing beats feel make it a song for the audio charts. The chorus is also very appealing.

Pooparika Nee Pogathae (Shankar Mahadevan)

Devi Sri Prasad has proved his critics wrong that he cannot come out with soft melodious numbers. With Shankar Mahadevan by his side, Prasad has come out with a lilting romantic song. The instrumentation has an alluring appeal. Catching higher ranges quite easily, Shankar Mahadevan has given the right feel for the song.

Agayam Iththanai (S P Balasubramaniam)

It's the vintage voice of S P Balasubramaniam. He infuses all the right romantic pathos in this song. Seemingly a rehash of a familiar old tune, the song does have a good orchestration. S P B sounds the same singer as he was in early 80's.

Ehh Kozhi (Naveen, Priya)

A catchy mass song accompanied by a peppy tune all through. The pick of the album, the tune is composed aimed at the front-benchers. Naveen is free flowing in this song. The small interludes of `shenai' are catchy. The lyrics are also attractive and stick to lips on first listening itself.

Un Parvayil (Karthik, Sumangali)

Yet another romantic song but with a mix of slow and fast rhythms. But the western influences in the song are obvious. The Goa-festival type chorus also fits into the totality of the song. Begins on a slow note, the song goes on to gain momentum. Devi Sri Prasad has managed to extract the best from Karthik and Sumangali.

Something Something (Thippu)

A peppy  which would certainly make one feel breaking into twist dance. Thippu has sung it  with great energy and with good orchestration by Devi Sri Prasad, the song is sure to find its place in chart busters. The beats are also truly very catchy. Sure to find it place among youngsters.

On the whole, the songs are lively and makes you look forward to the film.
