It is repeatedly told that if an aspirant actor or film maker comes from a family comprising of film personalities; it is very easy for the person to make it big.

But not in the case of Aamir Khan, the biggest star in the Hindi film industry today.

Revealing a never before known information, the perfectionist said,

“My parents were really against me getting into films. I come from a film family. My father and uncle were both film makers. And I faced hell at home. It was like there is no way you are getting into films”.

Aamir added “Every parent is concerned for their children. And they had been through this line and this profession is so uncertain. One day you are up. The next day you are nobody. And it is a really harsh profession”.

The guy who did not want to do anything else than acting never listened to his parents.

He instead believed in his gut feeling and took the plunge.

This same tremendous belief in his abilities later resulted in the movies like ‘Laagan’ and ‘Taare Zameen Par’ becoming realities.
