'2.0' producer NV Prasad and distributor Dil Raju have today met the press to say that the mega entertainer is running to packed houses in the Telugu States.
NV Prasad said, "Cinema halls are running to packed houses today (Day 2) as well. This is a sensational success in the history of dubbed cinema. Those who have watched the movie in 2D are watching it again in 3D. Family audiences are enjoying the visual feast. The audiences are thrilled to watch all those avatars in which Rajinikanth garu is seen in the movie. The noble message too has been received well."
Dil Raju said, "I watched the movie thrice yesterday. Never in my life had I done this. I enjoyed it in both 2D and 3D. The whistles of the mass crowd are something. November-end is considered as a lean season in the film industry. Despite this, the collections haven't been affected at all. This visual wonder has been possible only because of Shankar. The last 20 minutes of the film is sheer magic, with Rajini garu entertaining to the core. You have to watch this movie in the theatre as piracy will give you no experience. As a distributor, I was waiting for a success like this."
He shared what Mahesh Babu today told him. "When I went to the sets of 'Maharshi', Mahesh Babu garu told me he was wowed by '2.0' when he watched it last night in the home theatre. He and his son, Gautham, have seen it in 2D. Gautham wants to watch it again and I have advised Mahesh garu to take him to 3D big screen in the city. Such is the thrill children are getting. When children want to watch a film, it means families too will watch it," Raju said.
"Many did scare me about this movie days before its release. Censor reports were cited by random fellows. But I was always sure that Shankar garu will deliver magic with Rajini garu and Rs 500 Cr. I have nothing to say to those who are slamming the film saying it's illogical. 'Medhavulu' are there who will always nitpick," Raju added.
