After the crucially acclaimed super hit Cuckoo` director Raju Murugan has completed Joker`. As reported by Indiaglitz earlier, the makers have confirmed that the film will be a political satire.

Raju Murugan who is presently busy with the post-production of the film has revealed many important and interesting details about Joker` which are worth sharing with our readers.

"This is a film about the society. In today`s era of digitalization and development, people protests have also increased in India. The film is a story about this contradiction. Generally people who start protesting have been looked upon as Jokers in initial stages. There are so many examples for this including Bharathiyar. That`s why the film has been titled as Joker. Protestors are not jokers. This story will reveal who actually is the joker in this society" says Rajumurugan about the story and the title.

The former journalist says that he is interested in politics. "Politics does not end with political parties and organizations. There is politics in everything. The life of people and their day to day struggles involve politics. Everyone who thinks, speaks and swings into action for the good of the society is a politician. The film will deal with this aspect."

Raju Murugan assures that the film will be a laugh riot despite having a dark theme. "The film will have satire and comedy from start to end throughout" He says.

The film has been shot in Dharmapuri after conducting a six month Recce in that town. Many people from Dharmapuri have acted in the film.

Somasundaram of Aaranya Kandam` and Jigarthanda` fame has acted in the lead character Mannar Mannan, who is a middle aged man. Noted theater personality M.Ramasamy has acted in a character named Ponnoonjal. He is someone who is angry about the injustices of the society and would resemble legendary Tamil writer Jeyakanthan in looks as well as thoughts and dialogues. Writer Bava Chelladurai and Sa.Balamurugan have also acted in important characters in the film.

Gaythri and Ramya have played the two central female characters Isai and Mallika respectively. Both these character will have equal importance as that of the male lead.

Chezhiyan has handled the cinematography while Sean Roldon has rendered the musical score. Shanmugam Velusamy is handling the Editing. Satheesh Kumar has worked as the Art Director.

S.R.Prakash Babu and S.R.Prabhu have produced Joker` under their Dream Warrior Pictures banner.

The first single track of the film will be released on April 1. The music album release and theatrical release dates are expected to be announced soon.
