The National Award winners’ list which was announced of late got actor-producer Sohum Shah extremely emotional - and why not, for he turned out to be quite lucky enough to have two wins.

The actor-producer is very happy about ‘Ship of Theseus’ and the documentary, ‘Gulabi Gang’ getting their due now, but there is one thing that Sohum Shah extremely misses right now. His father passed away a week back and he wishes he could have known about Sohum Shah's triumph. Said an emotional Sohum Shah, "I am extremely happy that both Ship of Theseus and Gulabi Gang bagged the National Awards. The only sad part is that my father who wanted us to win this award passed away a week back. I wish he was with us to see it."

Both ‘Ship of Theseus’ and ‘Gulabi Gang’ received immense appreciation and acclaim from all quarters. However getting recognition of this kind by bagging two national awards is of utmost importance to Sohum Shah.
