"Soggadu", the much-awaited love story played by Tarun and Aarti, has opened to a very good response and tops the fortnight's list.

1. "Soggadu": Tarun, who plays a street-smart guy, is banking on this romance to regain his career. Director Ravi Babu, with one hit and one flop, should be looking forward to a winner this time.

2. "Sada Mee Sevalo": Director Neelakantha's film is appreciated for its comedy. It would have fared even better with a tighter screenplay.

3. "Chakram": Director Krishna Vamsi's film is doing pretty well .

4. "Sankranthi": New releases have failed to displace this family drama even in remote areas. If director Siva had invented realistic conflicts between loving brothers, it would done fared even better. Venkatesh yet again tastes success with a feel-good movie.

5. "Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana": M. S. Raju's wholesome entertainer has comfortably crossed the 50-day-mark. Besides launching Prabhu Deva as a director, the film completes a hat-trick for Midas-touch-maker M. S. Raju.
