Heard the song 'Soggade chinni nayana..' in Nagarjuna's latest film? All the promos have subtly indicated that the original song featured Akkineni Nageshwara Rao and thus, using it as a title for a Nag film is fitting. However, as the famous musicologist Raja has said on social media, the song from 'Aasthiparulu' did not feature ANR even in a single shot. "Soggade chinni nayana.. is a hit song from a hit film featuring ANR. That's all," he wrote.

The song features Jaggaiah and Vani Sri. The film stars ANR in a lead role.

The veteran musicologist has also said that many of the new-generation audiences are in the wrong belief that the song features ANR.

Interestingly, Nag apparently chose the title because of the ANR connection! Now, is Nag wrong?
