It's known that Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan was recently to the US on a trade mission. He appeared on 'The Armstrong Williams Show' along with Nadendla Manohar for an interview. He and his fellow compatriot threw light on the need for a robust trade and entrepreneurship environment in India.
"I have not entered politics to make money. I want to serve the nation and the needy. There is a good trade environment but we want to improve it further. Doing social transformation in movies is easy, it's not so in real life. The socio-cultural factors in India are a strength of our people. If you go to rural India, you will find people with an acute sense," Pawan Kalyan said on the show.
Nadendla Manohar said that, as a political party, Jana Sena believes in healthy trade relations with the US. "We want to help the youth of India to gain jobs and have increased investment opportunities. The purpose of the trade mission is to learn from their best practices. We should help youth to set up their own businesses and help them create jobs. There are government initiatives to improve trade relations and we want to build on them. Our party sees the disparities that exist between the haves and the have-nots. We have to strive to reduce them," Manohar told the host.
