Actress Swathi who had acted in several Telugu movies besides hosting a popular TV show had made her debut in Tamil with the Sasikumar directed Subramaniapuram and later was seen in Tamil in movies such as Poraali, Idharkuthaane Aasaipattai Balakumara, Yatchan, Yaakkai.

Swathi has also acted in many Malayalam movies and had got married to her boyfriend Vikas Vasu who's a a pilot, in August 2018. Swathi who is often seen making some updates on her Instagram handle has now expressed her irrigation on numerous fake profiles on Twitter and Facebook with her name.Swathi has clarified she's not joining Twitter and isn’t on Facebook either.

I don’t understand the patience to be a fake me when the real me is not able to be herself completely online. Fake profiles, Fake articles, fake posts, fake relationship standards, fake images, fake positive. Take me back to the 90s where a landline ensured more quality conversations, power cuts because of a drizzle and not a quarantine meant bonding, softy ice cream and egg puffs was standard socialising and Doordarshan was enough stimulation."
