Snigdha tears up recounting harassment at Indira Park

Snigdha, who shot to fame as a supporting artist with Nani's 'Ala Modalaindi', has recounted a sad incident from the past. Appearing on the show 'Super Queen' (to be telecast on November 28 on Zee Telugu), Snigdha said that she was sexually harassed by a stranger when she was very young.

"I happened to go to the park to have fun. As I was playing, an unidentified man grabbed me suddenly," Snigdha said, turning emotional. As she fought her tears back, others on the show, too, shared their solidarity. Her father, too, was present in the studio. The episode was graced by Anupama Parameswaran as a guest. Pradeep Machiraju is the host of the show.

Snigdha has acted in movies such as 'Routine Love Story', 'Dhammu', 'Guntur Talkies', and 'Kalyana Vaibhogame'. 'Kittu Unnadu Jagratha' and 'Oh! Baby' are among her other noted onscreen appearances. Snigdha, who has mostly played comedy roles, is also a singer. She started out her career as a music director.
