Audience from the B and C centres wished to see more of the Sadayan character that lyricist Snehan did in ‘Yogi’. On the other hand many assistant directors are reportedly chasing the lyricist with rustic stories in hand. So, does it mean that we can see another lyricist taking the roles of a hero?

Yup, our guesswork is true! Birdies say that Snehan has given his call-sheets for two of Bharathiraja’s assistants. The first aspiring assistant director is Prem who is also called Prem Kumar and he will be directing ‘Uyarthiru-420’ with Snehan as a son of an auto driver. The film will be completely shot in abroad. Shooting is expected to be done in Singapore, Malaysia, and China. The film is expected to start rolling from the second week of January, 2010 in China. So, the lyricist-turned-actor will be flying to China with his crew.

The second lucky director who got Snehan’s call-sheet is Thothathri. This film is titled as ‘Thai’ and is produced under a new banner. This one is expected to start its shoot by March 2010.
