The heroine with Karnataka connections Sneha Ullal is all set to appear in a Kannada film tentatively titled as ‘Devi’. What is surprising is that Sneha Ullal has received more than half a dozen Kannada offers in the past which she refused and suddenly agreed to act opposite Madhu Bangarappa who is not an actor but producer, Akash Audio and Studio owner.

The clout of Madhu Bangarappa perhaps has worked out. He is the son of former chief minister of Karnataka S Bangarappa and his brother Kumar Bangarappa (all set for Keladhi Shivappa Nayaka historical film) is a well known actor and former minister in the Congress-I government.

Sneha Ullal of ‘Ullasanga Utsahanga’ opposite Yasho Sagar in fact acted in the banner of Kannada producers but it was a super hit Telugu film.

Sneha Ullal acceptance was confirmed by Madhu Bangarappa at a glittering ‘Super’ entertainment program on Sunday night. It was super star Upendra who forced Madhu Bangarappa to make the announcement.

Ishwar is the director and Sridhar is the music director of this film going on the floor in the month of December 2010.
