Sneha - Another southie in B-town

Bollywood has yet again opened its arms to welcome a south beauty .
Meet Sneha, the popular actress from South . And she is going to step into Hindi screens with Revathy S. Varma's film titled ÂMad DadÂ.
ÂMad Dad stars Naseeruddin Shah and Ayesha Takia in lead. Sneha will feature as ShahÂs wife and TakiaÂs mother.
On picking up Sneha, Revathy stated to sources, ÂI chose Sneha because she has always chosen unconventional roles in the South. She has versatility to carry off any part with ease.
About her role in the film the filmmaker revealed that Sneha will be playing the wife, a very aristocratic character, who dies at age 25. So in the course of the story, she said to be living only in the memory of the title character. In this Sneha will be seen dressed up in the 1980s style.
As a matter of fact Sneha was roped in to play Sita in Rajkumar SantoshiÂs 'Ramayan' featuring Ajay Devgn in lead. However, the project never took off.
Confirming about SanthoshiÂs project Sneha said that she will always have the highest regard for him since he was the first filmmaker from Hindi industry to approach her. However she has no regrets now and is focused on ÂMad DadÂ. Added the actress further, ÂI've chosen to enter Hindi cinema with 'Mad Dad' because I always want to do challenging roles in any language. This is the best role to start my career in Hindi cinema.
