After the pesticide v/s soft drinks imbroglio came on fore once again a few weeks back, the manufacturing companies planned a well layed out rescue plan by roping in none other than the perfectionist Aamir Khan to speak on their behalf. Unlike numerous flashy ads that soft drinks come up with, this one was shot as a documentary where Aamir Khan visits a manufacturing unit, understands the nitty gritty of safety precautions and hygiene mechanisms and only after being thoroughly satisfied recommends the viewers to consider the soft drink safe. Well, knowing Aamir Khan's clout and his connection with his fans, the message was conveyed loud and clear.
Now as a follow-up to the same commercial, Smriti Irani too has been roped in for a commercial that gives out the same message loud and clear. Sharing the same platform as Aamir Khan? Now that's quite a leap for Smriti Irani who has further helped her celebrity status grow with this exposure!
