Giving yet another sneak-peek of his forthcoming and most awaited venture, filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar recently posted on his micro-blogging site an on-location still from his film ‘Heroine’.

The National Award winning helmer posted a pic of the film’s leading lady Kareena Kapoor, who is seen smoking and having a drink in hand. Wrote Bhandarkar along with the photo – “My Heroine #Kareena... Bold, Edgy, Uncensored... Like never before!”

The teaser trailer of ‘Heroine’ was supposed to be launched along with the release of Prabhudheva’s ‘Rowdy Rathore’. However, UTV producers felt that the Censor Board will not be pleased with the hard-hitting promo where the actress is shown smoking and drinking boldly.

Bhandarkar, who is known for his realistic films, was determined to keep the scene. But at the same time, he didn’t want Heroine’s trailer to be showcased at an ‘Adults Only’ film. And so following this, he is now said to be working on toning down the content of the trailer. As a result, it is now yet to be finalized whether the film’s promo will be ready by the time of ‘Rowdy Rathore’ release, which is on 1st June 2012.

Slated to release on 14th Sept 2012, 'Heroine' stars Kareena along with Arjun Rampal, Randeep Hooda, Rakesh Bapat, Shahana Goswami, Divya Dutta, Helen, Shillpi Sharma and Lillete Dubey.
