The bahu of Bal Thackrey, Smitha Thackeray, is back with her next production which said to feature some of the noted personalities of the screen.

Titled Society, the film is bannered under Paradigm Studios & Academy Pvt Ltd. and will be directed by Rahul Dholakia. The film will feature Randhir Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia, Sarika, Seema Biswas, Om Puri, Paresh Rawal, Javed Jaffery, Daisy Irani, Rajvir Singh and Reema Sen. The dialogues of the film are penned by Sanjay Chhel.

Yesterday the film's mahurat which was held at Model town (Andheri), was graced by our hunk star Salman Khan. The actor gave the first clap for the film. In his jovial style, Salman told media that he is willing to work with Smita Thackeray if she will cast her in her next film.

Talking about 'Society', Ms.Thackeray revealed that the film is based on water crisis in society. She is one of those producers who sees to that her films has some message to the audience.
