Charmi, on first sights, looks too pint-sized. But she packs quite a wallop in her efforts. Otherwise, she wouldn't be landing herself with so many interesting films after films.

Her Chakram was released. Though she had to share the frames with Asin, Charmi managed to hold her own against the Mallu girl.

In her previous film Mass, she played the second fiddle to Jyothika, but again was immediately taken note of.

Though it was Sri Anjaneyam and the impish character of Padma that made people sit and up and take notice of her, Charmi is now increasingly confident in two heroine subjects.

She is currently acting with Katerina Kaif in PB Arts Film with Balakrishna as the hero. But the talking point in the industry has been her role in Anukokunda Oka Roju, directed by Chandrasekhar Yeleti.

It is said to be a stunning role and the director himself has said so. But in that film she doesn't have to share frames with anybody else. She is one her own wicket.

And that's a new one for her.
