'Do Dooni Chaar' and 'Robot' may have released a week apart but currently these two films have managed to catch attention of the audience. More so because 'Do Dooni Chaar' and 'Robot' - Hindi version of 'Enthiran' were far lesser promoted when compared to 'Crook' or 'Anjaana Anjaani' and still managed to grow due to positive word of mouth.

Though the figures are yet to be corroborated, those associated with 'Robot' claim that the film has done a business of over 115 crores (in all the three languages - Tamil, Telugu, Hindi) just from India in the first week. This means that not just the film has crossed the two weeks collections of 'Dabangg', it has also eclipsed the lifetime collections of 'Ghajini'. If this has indeed been the case, this Rajnikanth starrer has set such a huge record that it would be unimaginable to see them getting broken in next one year at the least. A big film doing big business.

On the other hand much smaller 'Do Dooni Chaar' saw opening collections on the lower side but is pretty much growing amongst audiences. Since everyone who has seen the film is liking it, all that is required is for some good promotion from this point on. Coming weeks are release heavy as well so exhibitors too are required to show confidence in the film and retain the film in respectable number of shows.

One never knows, 'Do Dooni Chaar' could well turn out to be 'Khosla Ka Ghosla' of 2010.
