Actress Freida Pinto, who is famous for her role in the Oscar-winning British drama film 'Slumdog Millionaire' has announced that she is expecting her first child with fiancé Cory Tran.

The actress shared the exciting news alongside a series of pictures of her baby bump on her social media handle with a caption that read, "Baby Tran, coming this Fall." Freida Pinto had posted a long, heartfelt note back in late 2019 announcing her engagement to photographer Cory Tran on the occasion of his birthday. The couple had started dating in 2017.

"It all makes sense now. Life makes sense, the world makes sense, the past tears and trials make sense, what wise old lovers said about love makes sense, where I am makes sense and where I want to go completely makes sense. You my love are just the most beautiful creation to have ever walked into my life. And you are here to stay. Well, I am making you stay. Ha! All my love with all my heart. Oh and Happiest Birthday sweet Fiancé," Freida's note read.

Freida Pinto rose to fame with her 2008 debut film Slumdog Millionaire, directed by Danny Boyle, where she played the role of Latika. She later went on to appear in Woody Allen's You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger, Rise of the Planet of the Apes and Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle, among other movies.
