'Slum' Gets A

Getting ‘U/A’ and ‘A’ certificates from regional censor board have become common today. ‘Slum’ by Sagar Films produced P Murthy who belongs to backward class community has been passed with ‘A’ certificate for violence portion in the film.

How the ‘Slum’ life will be is shot in this film with interesting story line. The wrong attachment to the ‘Slum’ dwellers is looked at in the film and a solution is also arrived by P Murthy and team.

With censor certificate ‘A’ the film ‘Slum’ had to wait till May second week for the release of the film because actor Mayoor Patel contesting the assembly elections. According to guidelines the actor in fray for elections is not supposed to release in the surrounding of the assembly segment.

As the queue for films is quite length the release is planned in the month of May 2013 says Murthy. M Mahesh Kumar has written the story, screenplay an dialogues for the film besides directing the film. Revanna Nayak has written lyrics, MS is cameraman and BR HEmanth Kumar is music composer.

Mayoor Patel, Disha Poovaiah, Murthy, Neha Patil, Achyuth Rao, Shobaraj, Hari Sai, Potre Nagaraj, Gururaj Hoskote, Shivamanju, Manju Nagavara, Dore, Nitin and others are in the cast.
