Slapping scene: Ranveer Singh hit 24 times

Ranveer Singh, who is playing Alauddin Khilji in 'Padmavati', had a 'bad' time on the sets of the historical.

There is a particular scene in the movie where Raza Murad's character slaps Khilji rather tightly. Since the director is the perfectionist Sanjay Leela Bhansali, he was not happy with the way Raza slapped Ranveer. He didn't like it even after 10 times. Not even after 20 times.

Ranveer had to be slapped 24 times before his director okayed the 'shot', pun intended.
