SJ Suryah is getting more and more busy as an actor. especially after a tremendous performance in the ciritcally acclaimed 'Iraivi'. He has acted in lead role in director Selvaraghavan' 'Nenjam Marappathillai' which is ready for release. He is also acting in 'Iravakaalam' directed by Ashwin Saravanan of 'Maaya' fame. Apart from this he is acting as the lead antagonist in Mahesh Babu's Tami-Telugu bilingual 'Spyder' and touted to be the villain in Thalapathy Vijay's 'Mersal'.

Now SJ Suryah will be playing the lead villain in the Telugu remake of 'Bogan'. Ravi Teja will be reprising Jayam Ravi's role in the film while Suryah will be playing the titular character played by Arvind Swamy in the Tamil version. The Telugu version will also be directed by Lakshman who directed the Tamil original. Cathrine Tresa will be replacing Hansika for the female lead role in the Telugu remake.
