It has been reported by sections of media that the shoot of 'Pushpa' was halted earlier this week after a corona scare on the sets of the film. The same has now been confirmed by producer Naveen Yerneni.
Speaking to Mid-Day, he said that six members of the unit have contracted the virus. Five days of shoot was pending at Meredumilli forest area in AP and it had to be suspended because of the health emergency.
He confirmed that Allu Arjun and director Sukumar have tested negative. The cinematographer, too, is safe. Rashmika Mandanna was not present on the sets for five days before the corona scare.
The multi-lingual film won't be shot this month. It will resume its shoot in January.
