Sivakarthikeyan's long-halted movie 'Ayalaan' is on its way to the silver screens on Pongal 2024. This sci-fi alien entertainer is directed by Ravikumar of 'Indru Netru Naalai' fame and produced by KJR Studios along with Phantom FX Studios.
The makers held a grand audio launch ceremony for Ayalaan in Chennai yesterday. Sivakarthikeyan, director Ravikumar and the cast & crew were in attendance for the event which had director Mari Selvaraj as the chief guest. SK talked about the Pongal clash and other things on the stage. Apart from Ayalaan, Captain Miller and Lal Salaam are coming to cinemas.
Sivakarthikeyan said, "I wish Dhanush sir's 'Captain Miller' and Thalaivar's 'Lal Salaam' which are releasing for Pongal too. The other film industries are giving nationwide hits now. So, we shouldn't be fighting among each other and should encourage all films. I don't want to surpass this actor or win that actor, I just want to give the best films I can in Tamil cinema."
"Ayalaan has no smoking, no alcohol, no violence, no glamour, no bloodshed. But it's a proper commercial film. I'm a huge fan of Siddharth after watching him in 'Boys'. He gave voice to the alien character in this movie without getting any remuneration, just for our vision. I'm very thankful for him. Ravikumar will be the most wanted Indian director after the release of 'Ayalaan'. Part 2 is loading," added the actor.
