Sivakarthikeyan made his feature film debut with 'Marina' directed by Pandiraj and costarring Oviya which released on 3rd February 2012.  Six years later the affable star has reached dizzying heights that he commands a fan following and box office might equal to the mass heroes of Tamil cinema.

Sivakarthikeyan has taken to social media and posted an emotional thanks tweet in which he has acknowleged that it is fans who have carried him in these six years and he leaves it to them to take however far they want to.   The 'Velaikkaran' assures that he would continue to do his job of entertaining and be a good human being.  He has thanked his fans calling them brothers and sisters, his costars, directors and producers.  Here is wishing Siva many many more years at the very top of the entertainment arena.
