A few days ago veteran star Kamal Haasan and fast rising star Sivakarthikeyan visited Madurai Airport on their way to attend an event to be held in Thiruchendur. Sivakarthikeyan exited the airport a few minutes after Kamal Haasan exited amid rousing reception from his fans who had surrounded the entrance of the airport.

On seeing Siva Karthikeyan, the fans of Kamal allegedly abused him for acting in a film Rajini Murugan` that apparently glorifies Superstar Rajinikanth, who they consider as a rival of Kamal Haasan. In a video clipping that is spreading in social media like wildfire, a group of men could be seen abusing and trying to attack Sivakarthikeyan as he reached the exit point of the Madurai airport. The young actor was, however escorted safely by the guards surrounding him.

However in an extempore interview to media persons at the airport Sivakarthikeyan said that it was a minor issue and he was safe. He also assured that there is nothing to be worried about the incident.

Kamal Haasan when he was surrounded by media persons refused to attach any importance to the mishap and said Sivakarthikeyan is very much fine and he had just said bye bye` to him.
