It is already known that Sivakarthikeyan's 21st film will be jointly produced by Raaj Kamal Films International and Sony Pictures India. Director Rajkumar Periasamy (Rangoon fame) is set to helm the most awaited movie with SK and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles.

The latest reports suggest that 'SK21' will be an intense period-action drama. The film is based on the army and is set in the 60s. Sivakarthikeyan, who recently wrapped up his portions in 'Maaveeran', is currently taking training for his role in SK21 in Mumbai. His training will take place for 20 days. The shooting will commence next month in Kashmir.

Sources say that GV Prakash Kumar will score music for SK21. It is worth mentioning that the makers recently flew to Kashmir for the location hunt of the movie. The other cast and crew details will be unveiled after the team finalises the details. While SK's Maaveeran is aiming for a Bakrid (June) release, he also has a new project with director AR Murugadoss.
