Actor Siva Karthikeyan had last played a full fledged hero role in the Ponram directed rural entertainer Seemaraja costarring Samantha and had later appeared in a cameo in his maiden production venture Kanaa, acting alongside Aishwarya Rajesh, as he played her coach.

Now the actor is busy shooting for his action adventure flick Hero, directed by Irumbuthirai fame PS Mithran, and here's an interesting update on the movie. The producers of Hero, KJR Studios took it to Twitter, and revealed that the team has completed the first schedule and that the second schedule shoot begins today.

Adding that the film is progressing at a brisk pace, the producers shared their excitement that they're thrilled with the way Hero's visuals have come out. Hero marks the Tamil debut of Kalyani Priyadarshan, and also stars Action King Arjun and Naachiyar fame Ivana, and has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
