Leading young hero Sivakarthikeyan had only two films ('Rajini Murugan' and 'Remo" released last year and this year it will be only one ('Velaikkaran') that too in December. This rather unplanned gap has made a section of his fans disappointed. Many experts of the film industry have also apparently urged the actor to act in more films at such an early stage of his career.

Recently Sivakarthikeyan met the Press on account of Deepavali festival and took photographs with them. While addressing the media persons, the 'Kakki Sattai' actor assured that hereafter he will make sure at least he acts in two films hitting the screen every year. 

This has made the actors fans that extend beyond gender and age group very happy. Apart from 'Velaikkaran' which is in its final stages of shoot Sivakarthikeyan is currently shooting for an untitled film directed by Ponram in which he will be seen romancing Samantha for the first time.
