Following the success of the black comedy thriller 'Doctor', Sivakarthikeyan is currently working on the fun entertainer 'Don'. Jointly produced by Lyca Productions and Sivakarthikeyan Productions, Cibi Chakravarthi, debutant and a former associate of Atlee, has written and directed the movie.

Earlier, the makers announced that 'Don' will hit the screens worldwide on March 25. Now, the buzz is that the team is planning to push the release of 'Don' to a later date as SS Rajamouli's pan-Indian biggie 'RRR' is also scheduled to release on March 25. Sources have now revealed the new date eyed by the crew.

Lyca Production, which is bankrolling 'Don', has acquired the distribution rights of SS Rajamouli's magnum opus 'RRR' in Tamil Nadu. So, it is highly unlikely that the campus comedy entertainer might release on March 25. The latest reports suggest that Sivakarthikeyan's 'Don' might have a grand theatrical release on May 12 colliding with the summer holidays.

Priyanka Mohan essays the female lead role with SJ Suryah is headlining an important role in 'Don' while Shivaangi, Munishkanth, Samuthirakani, Soori, Bala Saravanan and RJ Vijay play supporting roles. Rockstar Anirudh is composing music for the movie with cinematography and editing by K. M. Bhaskaran and Nagooran respectively.
