The sudden announcement came today that Sivakarthikeyan would be producing a new movie directed by his friend Arunraja Kamaraj for which he has started a new banner Sivakarthikeyan Productions.  The film has Sathyaraj, Aishwarya Rajesh, Darshan, Ilavarasu and Rama in important roles while Siva's another college friend Dhibu Ninan Thomas scores the music. Cinematography is by Dinesh Krishnan, editing by Antony L Rubens, art direction by Lalgudi N Jayaram and production design by Pallavi Singh.

The story of the untitled Sivakarthikeyan Productions film is about a girl played by Aishwarya Rajesh who is aspiring to excel in the game of cricket and her ever supporting father.  Sathyaraj plays the father's role while Darshan takes on the male lead role.  Shooting has started in Lalgudi in Trichy district where Siva, Arunraja and Dhibu studied together.
