Busy star Sivakarthikeyan, from July 2nd will be in hectic promotional activities for his new movie 'Maaveeran' directed by Madonne Ashwin. The film starring Aditi Shankar as the female lead with Mysskin, Yogi Babu and others in pivotal roles in releasing worldwide on June 14th in theaters.

Siva will then resume the shooting of 'SK 21' produced by Kamal Haasan and directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy in which Sai Pallavi is pairing with him for the first time. This is also the first film of the hero that G.V. Prakash is scoring music for.

We broke the news long back that Sivakarthikeyan will next act in a new movie directed by AR Murugadoss for which the preproduction work is already underway. It is reported that talks are on with Bollywood actress Mrunal Thakur to play the female lead in the tentatively titled 'SK 22'. The official announcement is expected when the film is ready to go on floors later this year.

Mrunal Thakur gained pan Indian fame after playing the romantic lead in the multilingual blockbuster film 'Sita Ramam' costarring Dulquer Salmaan and Rashmika Mandanna. She is also part of the ensemble cast of 'Lust Stories 2' costarring real life lovers Tamannaah Bhatia and Vijay Varma which will begin streaming from July 29th on Netflix.
