The modern day star-actor rivals of Kollywood, Sivakarthikeyan and Vijay Sethupathi have had an all round good 2016, with their latest offerings Remo` and Rekka` exceeding their respective expectations at the box office.

There is a strange but unmistakable similarity between the next two projects of both these super talented performers. Sivakarthikeyan`s next film that will begin shooting in early November is directed by Mohan Raja, whose first original script Thani Oruvan` has made him a formidable name. The film has the top heroine of the South, Nayanthara as the leading lady and a pivotal role is played by Malayalam heavy weight Fahadh Fazil.

Similarly, Vijay Sethupathi`s next is directed by Thiagarajan Kumararaja whose original script Aaranya Kaandam` has been much appreciated in India as well as foreign shores unanimously by critics and fans. The film has the most sought after heroine of the South, Samantha as the leading lady and Fahadh Fazil again is doing an all important role. There is even the likelihood of the two films clashing at the box office sometime next year. That justifies our title, doesn`t it?
