May 1 has dual significance as far as Kollywood and its fans are concerned. One it is the Labour Day Holiday and two it is the Birthday of Thala Ajith Kumar. While last year we got to watch the World Record setting 'Kabali' teaser on May 1st,this year we will be getting to watch the first teaser of Ajith's 'Vivegam'.

Now it has been confirmed that it is not just 'Vivegam' teaser that is going to come as a feast for Thala fans as well as Tamil movie buffs . We will also be getting to view the First look poster of Sivakarthikeyan's 'Velaikkaran' directed by Mohan Raja on May 1, 2017 .

Given the title and the fact that Sivakarthikeyan's character is that of a low level employee in the film, it is most appropriate to have the First look release on the Labour Day.

'Velaikkaran' is being produced by RD Raja under his 24AM Studios banner and the film stars Nayanthara, Fahad Faasil, Sneha, Prakash Raj and RJ Balaji along with Sivakarthikeyan. Anirudh Ravichander is the music director.
