Sivakarthikeyan's 'Velaikkaran' directed by Mohan Raja and produced by 24AM Studios has opened this Friday to both critical acclaim and audience appreciation for its social theme ensemble casting and high production values.
'Velaikkaran' has collected a massive 7.25 Crores on opening day in Tamil Nadu which is the highest in Sivakarthikeyan's career sofar. Chennai city has accounted for 89 Lakhs, Chengalpat 2.4 Crores, Coimbatore 1.28Crores, Tuticorin - 32 Lakhs, Madurai 80Lakhs and the rest from the other territories.
