Currently, the leading Tamil actor Sivakarthikeyan is briskly shooting for 'SK20', as we reported earlier. 'SK20', the actor's first direct Tollywood film, is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual venture directed by director Anudeep of 'Jathi Ratnalu' fame.
The story is built around the romance between a foreign girl and a tourist guide in Pondicherry. We already updated you that the makers have been shooting for the film at Karaikal since earlier February. The latest is that the team has moved to Pondicherry for the next phase of the shoot.
On March 24, Sivakarthikeyan met Pondicherry's chief minister N Rangaswamy and photos from their meet-up have gone viral on the internet. Reportedly, the charming actor met the chief minister and requested him to reduce the tax on filming in Pondicherry. In Puducherry, the shooting tax has been increased from Rs 5,000 to Rs 25,000.
Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, Suresh Productions and Shanthi Talkies are jointly bankrolling 'SK20' that stars Ukrainian actress Maria Ryaboshapka and Ritu Varma playing the female leads. Sathyaraj and Prankster Rahul are playing supporting roles while Premgi Amaren is said to be playing a negative role in the upcoming movie.
