Following two consecutive 100cr club movies, actor Sivakarthikeyan's next project was officially announced with a high-octane concept video. The rising star has teamed up with director Madonne Ashwin of 'Mandela' fame for the upcoming movie 'SK22', which is titled 'Maaveeran'.

Produced by Shanthi Talkies, ace filmmaker Mysskin will be playing the villain. Now, the latest hot update is that Aditi Shankar will be playing the female lead opposite SK in 'Maaveeran'. Aditi is the youngest daughter of Tamil cinema's renowned director Shankar. Her acting debut film 'Viruman' opposite Karthi is slated to be released on August 12.

Taking to Twitter, the production house wrote, "We are glad to have @AditiShankarofl onboard! #Maaveeran" (sic). As per the latest reports, Maveeran shooting kickstarts today and Aditi Shankar will be joining the rest of the cast. Bharath Sankar scores the music for the film, Vidhu Ayyanna handles the cinematography and Philomin Raj does the editing.
