Sivakarthikeyan's 'Maveeran' directed by Madonne Ashwin has wrapped up its shoot a few weeks back and the postproduction work is going on in full swing. Earlier, it was officially announced that the movie will release worldwide on August 11th.

Meanwhile out of the blue came the hot official update from Sun Pictures that Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Jailer' directed by Nelson Dilipkumar will be releasing on August 10th. It was reported widely that the 'Maaveeran' team will be looking for an alternative date to avert a direct clash with the Rajini film.

Now Shanthi Talkies the producer of the new age entertainer has officially confimed "Our #Maaveeran/#Mahaveerudu, will see you in theaters worldwide - much SOONER & BIGGER, on JULY 14th".

'Maaveeran' has Sivakarthikeyan and Aditi Shankar as the lead pair with Saritha, Yogi Babu, Sunil and Mysskin in important characters. Bharat Shankar is composing the music with Vidhu Aiyanar handling the cinematography and Philominraj the editing.
