We all know that Sivakarthikeyan's latest release 'Maaveeran' earned him a much-deserved success. Directed by the National Award-winning maker Madonne Ashwin, this fantasy entertainer has succeeded in shaping SK as a proper action hero. Now, the film is all set to make its world digital premiere on a leading streaming service.

Amazon Prime officially announced that Maaveeran will debut on their digital platform on August 11th in Tamil and Telugu. The film is filled with action and fantasy mixed with socio-political messages and it chronicles how Sathya, a timid cartoonist, transforms into a fearless hero and takes over the world with the help of a mystery voice.

Maaveeran was released theatrically on July 14 and opened to unanimous positive reviews from fans and critics. The movie marked one of the highest openings in Sivakarthikeyan's career and has grossed more than Rs 85 crores worldwide. With music by Bharath Shankar, the star cast comprises SK, Aditi Shankar, Mysskin, Sunil, Sarita, Yogi Babu and others.
