Sivakarthikeyan's recent film 'Maaveeran' earned him a huge success after a setback with 'Prince'. Positive responses poured in for the fantasy action film from the critics and audience. It satisfied the anticipation that sparked when SK joined with the National Award-winning director Madonne Ashwin.

Maaveeran saw one of the biggest openings in the actor's career and the strong word of mouth boosted it further. After earning Rs 50 crore in 4 days, the movie has now touched the 75-crore mark in eleven days. The makers launched an official poster to confirm the same. Maaveeran minted more than 43 crores in the Tamil Nadu box office in two weeks.

Sivakarthikeyan recently delivered back-to-back 100 crore films 'Doctor' and 'Don'. Maaveeran is likely to join the list. It stars SK, Aditi Shankar, Saritha, Mysskin, Yogi Babu, Sunil, Monisha, and others.
