Sivakarthikeyan is all set to astonish his fans yet again with the much-awaited film, 'Maaveeran'. It is going to be a unique action entertainer with SK as a cartoonist, directed by National Award-winner Madonne Ashwin. Aditi Shankar is playing the female lead in the movie.

According to the latest reports, the team just finished a 20 days schedule in Kathivakkam near Ennore and it was mostly a night shoot. They have now moved to Pondicherry for the final leg of filming, which will begin today at 2 PM. The makers have set up a boat set in Pondy. Sources say that the entire shooting will be wrapped up within two weeks.

The hot buzz is that Sivakarthikeyan's Maaveeran and Karthi's Japan are most likely to clash at the box office on Ramzan, June 29. Meanwhile, actor and director Mysskin plays the villain opposite SK in Maaveeran with Saritha and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles. Bharath Sankar composed the music, Vidhu Ayyanna handled the camera and Philomin Raj did editing.
