Sivakarthikeyan has grown to be one of the biggest names in Tamil cinema. He is currently working on his forthcoming film, 'Maaveeran', directed by the National Award-winner Madonne Ashwin. SK shared an important update about Maaveeran in an audio launch function.
Sivakarthikeyan graced the music release ceremony of the Gautham Karthik starrer 'August 16 1947' as the chief guest last night in Chennai. It is worth mentioning that the 'Doctor' actor is reported to join hands with director AR Murugadoss, who is the producer of this film. He recalled his previous collaborations with ARM and hinted that they will team up again. Notably, 'SK21' is directed by ARM's assistant Rajkumar Periasamy.
Talking at the grand event, SK stated that he has completed his portions for Maaveeran and there are only 2-3 days of shoot left before the film is fully wrapped up. He added that Maaveeran was one of the toughest films for him to shoot. He reportedly promised that Maaveeran will be a fresh experience for audiences. SK will start shooting for 'SK21' under Rajkumar Periasamy direction next.
Here's what Sivakarthikeyan said about his journey with AR Murugadoss: "Engeyum Eppodhum was Murugadoss sir's first film as a producer. I was the anchor of that film's launch event. Then, I starred as the hero in Maan Karate, bankrolled by his production company. Now, I am here as a guest for the audio launch of August 16 1947, produced by ARM as well. And, there is an important step to come. It will happen soon."
