The interesting first look teaser of Sivakarthikeyan’s ‘Kottukkaali’ is here

Sivakarthikeyan one of the biggest stars of Tamil cinema is currently acting in ‘Maaveeran’ directed by Madonne Ashwin after which he has films with Kamal Haasan’s RKFI banner, an A.R. Murugadoss directorial and other interesting projects.  Apart from acting he is also a busy producer who has bankrolled five films so far.

Earlier today Sivakarthikeyan announced his sixth film as producer titled ‘Kottukkaali’ directed by P.S. Vinod Raj of the internationally acclaimed ‘Koozhangal/Pebbles” fame.  The film has Soori and Anna Ben in the lead roles.

A while ago Sivakarthikeyan unveiled the first look teaser of ‘Kottukkaali’ that shows Anna Ben refusing to budge from a car seat while a rugged looking Soori who loses his patience moves menacingly towards her.

Vinodraj’s ‘Koozhangal’ is a deeply rooted tale of bonding between a father and his little son after the aftermath of his wife deserting him.  It was produced by Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan and won several awards both locally and internationally.  Judging by the first look and teaser, ‘Kottukkaali’ also promises to be a very local and thereby global film.
