One of the most entertaining movies in the last couple of years is Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam` directed by Ponram and starring Sivakarthikeyan, Sridivya and Sathyaraj. When the hero and director along with music director D.Imman came together again for Rajini Murugan`, expectations skyrocketed but unfortunately the film which was completed many months ago got caught in the financial mess caused by the failure of Uttama Villain` for producers Thirupathi Brothers .

Now things seem to be looking up for the film as we hear that Thirupathi Brothers have negotiated with their main creditors Eros Entertainment to allow for the release of Rajini Murugan` who have relented at last and preparations have now begun to book screens for a release on the 21st of October to capitalize on the long Pooja holidays which will bring in the family audiences for whom Sivakarthikeyan is the current favorite hero. We hope the Goddess Saraswathi ensures that the film does hit the screens this time and not disappoint again.
