This Pongal winner, Rajini Murugan` has taken the biggest opening for Sivakarthikeyan collecting 21 Crores showing signs of becoming a super hit. The film grossed the lifetime collection of Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam` in four days.

Sivakarthikeyan`s casual performance, the freshness of the leading lady Keerthi Suresh, the comedy of Soori, the towering presence of Rajikiran and Samuthirakani, lilting music by Imman and the clean presentation by Ponram are the factors pulling in the family audiences to the theatre
